Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari informed that as of June 30, 2024, construction work has been completed on 71 kilometres of the total 109-kilometre-long expressway.

In a written reply, the minister stated that the expressway project is on track and is expected to be completed within the 2024–25 financial year.
