Dholera Solar Park is one of India’s largest renewable energy projects, spread across nearly 11,000 hectares in Dholera Smart City. The project harnesses solar power through advanced photovoltaic panels, generating clean and sustainable electricity while significantly reducing carbon emissions and environmental pollution.

With a planned capacity of more than 5,000 MW , the Dholera Solar Park plays a crucial role in meeting the energy requirements of Dholera SIR and supporting India’s transition toward green and renewable energy. The project aligns with the smart city vision by integrating clean power solutions into urban and industrial development.

Developed and managed by Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd (GUVNL), Dholera Solar Park utilizes state-of-the-art technology and modern infrastructure to convert sunlight into reliable electricity. Its strategic location on unused land ensures environmentally safe power generation while minimizing ecological impact.

Currently under development, the project aims to generate 1,000 MW in Phase 1, supplying clean energy to residents and businesses in Dholera SIR within the next two years. Subsequent phases will expand capacity to 5,000 MW over the next 3–5 years, strengthening Gujarat’s renewable energy ecosystem.
